Timothy Adams, M.D.
Dr. Adams realized he wanted to specialize in psychiatry when he saw how the right medication could enable a person to reclaim their life from mental illness. He enjoys partnering with patients to achieve their mental health goals, and specializes in the treatment of adolescents and young adults.
Dr. Adams earned both his medical and bachelor’s degree from Texas A & M University, and additionally holds a master’s degree in medical science from University of North Texas Health Science Center. He completed his residency in general psychiatry at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. He is also an assistant professor at the TCU Burnett School of Medicine.
Dr. Adams was born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and currently lives in Fort Worth with his wife, two daughters, and son. He looks forward to football season every year.
Amie Riddle, MSN, RN, PMHNP-BC
Amie is Board Certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She treats children, adolescents, and adult patients with a range of mental health diagnoses. Amie earned her Masters and Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing at the University of Texas at Arlington and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Prior to joining Cityview Psychiatry, Amie practiced as a Registered Nurse in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Amie and her family live in Fort Worth.
